When Are We Getting A Demon Slayer Game?

As of now, we know of two Demon Slayer games to be released, but where the hell are they?!

Since its release in 2016, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has taken Japan by storm. Some say it will be the next One Piece in terms of popularity. In 2019, it was adapted to an anime series with an English dub shortly following.

In March of 2020, we recived news that a Demon Slayer game will be released in 2021 on PS4: Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan.

Ken Xyro, who worked on Kakarot, posted screenshots of the upcoming game.

We also got a Japanese trailer for the game

It’s speculated that the game will follow the story of the anime in a 3d versus format. One could hope that, with Ken Xyro on the project, we will get an open-world game similar to Kakarot.

Any news of the game as of now seems to have been eclipsed by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train.

A Demon Slayer mobile game was announced as well: Demon Slayer: Keppu Kengeki Royal.
The mobile app will be a battle royale style game with the option to be a Demon Slayer or Demon.

Are you excited for the PS4 release of Hinokami Kepputan?
